Blueberry Sunflower Kids Smoothie
A delicious kids smoothie packed with protein, fibre and healthy fats is a brilliant way to help super charge your children.
This blueberry sunflower smoothie is full of lots of other healthy options including banana, hemp and coconut milk. It takes one minute to make and is great to slurp at breakfast time. This kids smoothie contains the right balance of nutrients to keep brains sharp, mood lifted and energy levels even. No sugar highs from this smoothie!
Sunflower lecithin contained in sunflower seeds is an important phospholipid that plays a role in brain health. It is used for calm and focus. Phospholipids help the brain cells to communicate properly helping your children’s mood, mind and mental performance.
Hemp seeds are a non-fishy option if you are keen to boost up your children’s intake of Omega 3. They also contain healthy fibre and are good for kids who struggle to poop!

Blueberry Sunflower Kids Smoothie
Ingredients
- 50 g Blueberries
- 1 Banana
- 5 g Sunflower seeds
- 5 g Hemp seeds (Hulled)
- 100 ml Coconut milk (Rude Health or Koko)
Instructions
- Blend all the ingredients together for one minute in your Nutribullet or with a stick blender and serve.
