Liz Earle Wellbeing Podcast – Is ultra-processed food changing your brain?

Liz Earle, smiling, stands against a collage background featuring colourful images of food, flowers, and people. A circular logo reads "The Liz Earle Wellbeing Show".

I joined Liz on her Wellbeing podcast to talk about my new book, Brain Brilliance and revealed how what we put into our mouths influences what happens in our brains.

We talked about the links between ultra-processed foods and how they may affect our character, attention, behaviour and our over all brain health. Plus, we discussed the emerging science surrounding the genetic components of conditions such as ADHD.

I also mentioned the key foods for brain health and overall wellbeing for ourselves, our children and our grandchildren. This episode also explores the potential benefits of botanicals such as saffron and lion’s mane for neurodivergent brains.
