Ingredient: Chicken Thighs

Chicken thighs are a brilliant family staple and are more affordable than chicken breast with greater juiciness and flavour.
The dark meat in chicken thighs contains more iron and zinc than the white chicken breast, so choose chicken thighs over breast where possible. Zinc and iron both help to support your immune system and energy levels, as well as brain development in growing kids.
Chicken thighs are naturally higher in fat and less likely to dry out when cooked which is perfect for batch cooking and reheating. Opt for skin on and bone as they tend to be juicier. That said, the boneless, skinless versions are super handy for quick cooking or marinating.
Chicken thighs often come in large packs, so they are great for batch cooking! Also keep a few packs in the freezer and they’ll come to the rescue time and time again.
