Healing Miso Broth

This delicious broth is a hug in a mug! It is comforting and highly nourishing chicken broth gently flavoured with fermented miso paste and soya sauce. And it also has a boost of iodine and other trace minerals from the seaweed sprinkles.

This recipe is just what you need to reach for when you are feeling under the weather. Chicken stock and broth both make a brilliant support for your immune system when you have a nasty cold or virus. It is also fantastic when you need a settling drink after a tummy upset. High in collagen, glycine and proteins, bone broth is one of the most nourishing foods in the world!

Suitable for kids as well as adults, this recipe is a great way for everyone to enjoy bone broth regularly. Why don’t you enjoy a warm cup after a long afternoon of school, sport or a family walk?

Notes

  • It is not difficult to make your own chicken bone broth. Find my recipe here: Gut-Healing Chicken Bone Broth or Stock
  • You can buy fresh bone broth or stock in your supermarket if you don’t have any to hand.  Beef or lamb stock and bone broth also work well in this recipe. You do not get the same nutritious benefits from stock cubes or bouillon.
  • Tamari soya sauce is a type of gluten-free soya sauce, so you can swap the tamari soya sauce for your usual soya sauce if you prefer.
  • Stores in the fridge for 3 days or the freezer for 3 months.
