About Tash
Tash is a registered naturopathic nutritionist who trained at the College of Naturopathic Medicine. She is passionate about childrens’ health and believes every child has a fundamental right to good health and wellbeing. She practises by our secure video telehealth system.
Her journey into nutrition was ignited by the experience of her eldest son who was very ill as a baby with breathing problems. He was frequently admitted to hospital spending time in the intensive care unit. Tash felt utterly helpless at this point, prompting her to search for other options that could support his health and wellbeing. Medical acknowledgement that certain foods could harm his health led to her search for information about foods that might support him and aid his healing. This became the driving force behind her nutritional qualification; teaching all 3 of her children to nurture themselves positively is a main goal for Tash as a mother. Her son is now a talented footballer and enjoys life to the full.
Tash thrives on inspiring parents and children to recognise the power of food and understand the impact this can have upon their health and wellbeing. She previously worked as an actor and uses these skills in conducting workshops and talks, demonstrating simple and accessible recipes, explaining the beneficial effects of the ingredients used and offering useful lifestyle tips along the way.
Tash has a particular interest in neuro-diversity such as ADHD and atopic conditions in children such as eczema and asthma. She also loves to support the families of these children including supporting parents who may feel emotionally exhausted and low.
