Daisy York
About Daisy
Daisy is a qualified and registered nutritional therapist specialising in family health. Daisy works with children supporting neurodiverse conditions including ADHD, ASD and dyslexia as well as supporting children’s gut and immune health. Daisy also supports the busy parents who keep the show on the road; and consequently her expertise extends to adult metabolic, hormonal and digestive health.
As a full-time working mother with three young children she has a profound appreciation for what it means to support health in the context of a busy family home. Consequently, personalised health plans are realistic and practical. Daisy’s approach is warm and empathetic – professional advice is given without judgement and with respect for where everyone is on their individual health journey.
In addition to clinical work, Daisy is a passionate educator and keynote speaker making nutritional science accessible, engaging and a first port of call for anyone wishing to optimise their health. Daisy recently delivered a TEDx talk to share practical ways we can draw on three areas of science to mitigate our risk of developing chronic disease.
Following a decade-long career in the corporate world, Daisy trained in nutritional therapy at The Institute of Optimum Nutrition and completed further training at the Institute of Functional Medicine and in the fields of nutrigenomics. She advocates the use of functional testing where appropriate in order to make targeted recommendations and deliver successful outcomes.
Daisy practises from our Sloane Square clinic in London and also by our secure video telehealth system.
