Clare van Moppes
About Clare
Clare is a qualified Nutritional Therapist. She gained a distinction in Nutritional Therapy from the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London. She has a life-long interest in healthy living and exercise, and a particular interest in teen and women’s health and hormones, as well as digestive and gut-related issues. She has a very warm and reassuring way of getting to the core of things and impressive attention to detail.
Clare strongly believes that an integrative approach incorporating great nutrition and lifestyle can play a huge role in improving both physical health and mental wellbeing. She is a very thorough and empathetic practitioner and understands the importance of supporting each person as an individual. She is clever at putting in place practical and realistic nutritional interventions.
Clare mainly sees perimenopausal and menopausal women, teenage girls with hormone challenges and can run in-depth hormone tests. She also sees men with a range of health conditions from digestive issues to those needing cardiovascular support. She supports older teens, university students and women who need a little bit of extra help with their ADHD, brain fog and mental stamina.
She is trained in nutrigenomics, which is the study of genes and how they relate and respond to nutrition and lifestyle interventions. Clare believes that understanding the role genes can play in health outcomes is invaluable when providing individualised support. Running genetic tests enables Clare to work with clients to optimise their health with a plan tailored to their unique DNA. Clare uses Lifecode Gx nutrigenomic testing.
Clare is married and lives in Wiltshire with 3 teenage daughters. She is based in a village on the Hampshire-Wiltshire border, between Andover and Salisbury and also offers consultations virtually through our secure video telehealth system.
